Robinson's Quality Quail sells healthy, NPIP-certified, Avian Influenza (AI) Clean day-old Northern Bobwhite quail chicks, hatched on our Bowdon, Georgia farm since 2007. Chicks are purchase-online, local-pickup-at-farm only — we do not mail live chicks — because day-old poultry must be received within 72 hours of hatch. Bulk farm delivery is available for orders of 1,000 or more.

Our day-old chicks come from our carefully managed Northern Bobwhite Quail breeding flock. Raised in a clean, biosecure environment and certified under the NPIP program, these chicks give you the best possible start for your flock.

How Hatch Scheduling Works
Our chicks hatch on a regular schedule during the spring and summer season. When you purchase through our store, you will be assigned to an upcoming hatch date. We will contact you with pickup details once your hatch date is confirmed.

Before You Order — How Chick Pickup Works
- Local pickup only: We do not mail live chicks. Healthy day-old poultry must be received within 72 hours of hatch, so chicks are handed off in person at our Bowdon, GA farm at your scheduled pickup time.
- Bulk delivery: Orders of 1,000 or more chicks may qualify for delivery; we charge $0.50 per mile beyond our standard area.
- Strain: Northern Bobwhite quail, from NPIP-certified, AI-Clean breeding stock. Count per order is shown on each listing below.
- Live-arrival commitment: If chicks have an issue at pickup, count and photograph them and contact us within 24 hours for a fair replacement or credit. See our policy.

Are Robinson's Quality Quail birds NPIP certified and AI clean?
Yes. Robinson's Quality Quail is NPIP certified, and our Northern Bobwhite flock is Avian Influenza (H5/H7) Clean. NPIP participation is required to legally ship hatching eggs and live birds across state lines, and AI-clean status means our flock is routinely tested. We have raised quail under these standards on our Bowdon, Georgia farm since 2007.
Can you ship live quail chicks?
Day-old chicks are purchase-online, local-pickup-at-farm only — we do not mail live chicks. Local pickup is at our farm: 1800 Highpoint Road, Bowdon, GA 30108, in Carroll County, West Georgia. Please call or text Gabe Robinson at (770) 580-9702 to arrange a pickup time before arriving. Pickup is convenient for customers in Bowdon, Carrollton, Villa Rica, Bremen, Temple, and the surrounding West Georgia and East Alabama area.
Is avian influenza passed through hatching eggs?
Avian influenza is not transmitted from a hen to her chick through the egg itself. The meaningful protection is buying from a flock that is monitored and tested. Our flock is NPIP certified and Avian Influenza (H5/H7) Clean and routinely tested, which is also what allows us to ship hatching eggs across state lines legally.
